
In the latest Crop Progress report from USDA, the U.S. Corn Crop is rated 63% Good to Excellent this week, down 4 points from last week. Soybean crop conditions are 63% good to excellent this week, down 3 points from last week.
The U.S. cotton crop is rated 46% good to excellent this week, up 1 point from a week ago. For the U.S. grain sorghum crop, the latest good-to-excellent ratings are 41%, down 4 points from last week.
Winter Wheat harvest now stands at 81%, compared to 74% one week ago and 79% at this point last year.
Pasture and Range
In the southern plains, Oklahoma pasture and range conditions are now ranked 32% good to excellent, versus 36% last week and 69% a year ago. Poor to very poor ratings are now at 29%, versus 30% a week ago and 6% a year ago.
Kansas good to excellent conditions are ranked at 50% compared to 57% last week and 57% a year ago. Poor to very poor conditions are ranked 20% this week, 15% last week, and 13% a year ago.
Texas good to excellent conditions are ranked 36% this week, 40% last week, and 58% a year ago. Poor to very poor conditions are ranked 32% this week, 27% a week ago, and 16% a year ago.
The 48-state national pasture and range conditions are now at 29% good to excellent versus 29% last week and 45% one year ago. Poor to very poor ratings nationally are at 42% this week versus 42% last week and 26% one year ago.
Corn Statistics:
Oklahoma corn silking is at 85%. Corn conditions rank as follows: 50% good to excellent, 30% fair, and 20% poor to very poor
Kansas corn silking is at 70%. Corn conditions rank as follows: 54% good to excellent, 29% fair, and 17% poor to very poor
Texas corn silking is at 91%. Corn conditions rank as follows: 42% good to excellent, 28% fair, and 30% poor to very poor
Soybean statistics:
Oklahoma soybeans blooming are at 50%. Oklahoma soybean conditions rank as follows: 27% good to excellent, 43% fair, and 30% poor to very poor.
Kansas soybeans blooming are at 63%. Kansas soybean conditions rank as follows: 64% good to excellent, 29% fair, and 7% poor to very poor.
Texas soybeans blooming are at 74%. Texas soybean conditions rank as follows: 59% good to excellent, 33% fair, and 8% poor to very poor.
