Midwest Dairy is looking for your best calendar-worthy dairy photos! One winning photo will be selected and featured in Midwest Dairy’s 2027 Calendar, which will be distributed with the Winter Dairy Promotion Update magazine.
“We are so excited to kick off a new project that celebrates dairy farms in our 10-state region. We welcome photo submissions that capture dairy at any stage of production, from beautiful cows and barns, to milking, all the way through to consumption,” said Stacey Gorman, Director of Communications for Midwest Dairy. “Dairy cows or dairy itself should be the focus of each photo, and people should not be included. I look forward to seeing images from across the Midwest that showcase the unique landscapes and dairy communities where dairy is produced.”
Ready to enter? Here’s what you need to know:
- Contestants may submit up to three photos. Suggested dairy-related subjects to photograph include,
but are not limited to, cows, barns, milking, fields, recipes that feature dairy, dairy products, etc. - Contestants should live within our 10-state region; all residents are eligible to enter.
- Photos must be taken in horizontal orientation and be at least 300 dpi.
- Photos should feature dairy as the focus, and people should not be included.
- Submit entries online or email high-resolution JPEG photos to info@midwestdairy.com.
- Please include your name and the location of the photo(s) when entering.
- Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Central on Friday, October 9, 2026.
- Midwest Dairy staff will vote to select the winning photo.
- The winner will be announced Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
What the Winner Receives
The winning photo, along with photo credit, will be featured in the 2027 Midwest Dairy Calendar. The winner
will also receive a dairy prize pack, including 25 copies of the poster-sized calendar to share with friends and
family
