The Oklahoma deer archery opener is Oct. 1. Bowhunters need only an annual hunting license and a deer archery license to harvest the full archery bag limit. Hunters under 18 just need their youth annual super hunting license. Nonresidents who purchase a deer archery license after Sept. 30 must do so two days in advance of going hunting.
Hunters can take up to six deer as part of the archery season, (no more than two antlered), all of which count toward the hunter’s combined season limit of six deer.
