OKC West Calf Trade $5 to $20 Higher as Buyers Aggressively Push Prices Higher

On Tuesday September 22, 2026- the calf run at OKC West In El Reno reported 2, 650 head. Compared to last week: Steer calves 10.00-20.00 higher. Heifers calves 5.00-15.00 higher. Quality started out very plain for the first two hours of the sale. As the sale progressed, quality steadily improved from plain to average, with some attractive drafts offered. Overall calf quality was the best we have seen throughout the summer. Buyers were very aggressive on average to attractive drafts and were willing to push prices higher to buy the cattle.
