Sale of Champions Matches 2025 $1.4 Million in First Finale in OG&E Coliseum

The 2026 Oklahoma Youth Expo reached its grand crescendo today as the Sale of Champions took center stage, marking a historic milestone in the world’s largest junior livestock show- the 213 animals and owners that made the sale cashed in for a total of $1.4 million- the same amount generated a year earlier. For the first time, these elite young exhibitors and their prize-winning animals walked through the gates of the state-of-the-art OG&E Coliseum, ushering in a new era of agricultural excellence at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds. These Youth are the first to carve their names into the legacy of this premier venue, setting a gold standard for generations to come, continuing the success of the Oklahoma Youth Expo.

Highlighting the event, the Grand Champion Market Steer, shown by Maddox Shout, commanded a top price of $100,000. The steer was purchased by a syndicate including Express Ranches, Express Employment Professionals, Bank of Western Oklahoma, McAfee & Taft, and the OKC Convention and Tourism Bureau.

The Reserve Grand Champion Steer, exhibited by Delanie Troyer, followed with a sale price of $30,000, supported by Oklahoma AgCredit and the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (OERB).

Market Barrow Champions

In the swine ring, Cambry Dosh’s Grand Champion Market Barrow brought $30,000, with the winning bid placed by Westgate Marketplace.

The Reserve Grand Champion Barrow, shown by Cooper Buck, sold for $15,000 to a group consisting of Blue and Gold Sausage, the Oklahoma Pork Council, Oklahoma Ford Dealers, and the Choctaw Nation.

Wrapping up the Swine with the Bronze Medallion was shown by MaKenna Oliver for $10,000, bought by Central State Trailers, and Chip Keating for Governor.

Market Lamb Champions

Grand Champion market lamb- Sadye Allen’s lamb sold for $20,000, bought by National Livestock Credit Corporation, Oklahoma Ford Dealers, Bank of Western Oklahoma, and Diamond Hats.

The Reserve Grand Champion Lamb, exhibited by Haylee Nail, sold for $12,500 to OKC Fair Park and the Bank of Western Oklahoma.

Then the Bronze Medallion went for $10,000, as shown by McKenna Hurley, and was bought by the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives, the Oklahoma Ford Dealers, and Continental Resources.

Market Goat Champions

In the goat show, Jase Sparks’ Grand Champion Market Goat sold for $15,000, purchased by McDonald’s, Farm Credit Associations of Oklahoma, and the Choctaw Nation.

Rounding out the top honors, Taylor Glover’s Reserve Grand Champion Goat brought $11,000, supported by Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma and Pfeiffer Farms. This auction was pretty special, as Taylor’s dad got to serve as the auctioneer for her prize-winning goat.

Finally, the Bronze Medallion Goat went for $7500, shown by Addley Hanson from the folks at Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma, and OYE.
