
Boxed beef prices declined on Tuesday with the Choice cutout down $4.17 to $364.72 and the Select cutout down $7.10 to $350.78, marking the lowest levels since October 14. The Choice/Select spread widened to 13.94. This was the fifth decline in the last six sessions. Load count totaled 115.
Primal values were mostly lower: Rib fell $15.18 to $626.82, Chuck dropped $5.74 to $293.18, Round declined $1.95 to $293.42, Loin eased $0.51 to $476.11, Brisket slipped $0.96 to $324.18, Plate decreased $1.37 to $248.04, and Flank dropped $1.51 to $180.69.
