Boxed beef cutout values continued their upward trend on Thursday, marking the fourth consecutive daily gain. The Choice cutout rose $2.24 to $360.77/cwt, while Select increased $2.06 to $359.71/cwt, widening the spread to $1.06. So far in 2026, the Choice cutout has climbed $13.32.
Compared to Wednesday, primal values showed mixed movement. The rib increased from $466.96 to $475.23, and chuck rose from $345.18 to $347.74. The round edged up from $318.88 to $319.17, and loin moved higher from $438.90 to $441.51. Meanwhile, brisket declined from $315.61 to $308.18, while plate rose to $245.81 from $243.03, and flank increased to $172.58 from $169.74. Total loads were reported at 150, up from 129 the previous day.
