The 2026 Oklahoma Denim Ball, hosted by the Oklahoma Cotton Council, was held March 27-28 at the National Hotel in downtown OKC. With strong attendance, meaningful recognition, and continued support for the cotton industry, those
involved noted is as the best year yet.
For seven years, the Denim Ball has continued to bring together producers, industry leaders, and supporters from across the region for a weekend of fellowship, networking, and fundraising.
Festivities began Friday evening with a Happy Hour followed by a lively “Party in The Vault,” setting the tone for a weekend focused on connection and celebration. Saturday’s Morning Social at OKC Tap House provided attendees with an opportunity to gather for lunch, enjoy an open bar, and participate in interactive activities adding a fun
and engaging element to the weekend.
The highlight of the event took place Saturday evening at The National, OKC, where over 230 guests from Oklahoma and Texas gathered for the 2026 Oklahoma Denim Ball. During the evening, honorees Merlin Schantz and Harvey Schroeder were formally inducted into the Oklahoma Cotton Hall of Fame, recognizing their lasting contributions
and impact on the cotton industry.
In addition to celebrating industry leaders, the Denim Ball serves as an important fundraiser for the Committee for the Advancement of Cotton (CAC), the political action committee of the National Cotton Council. Funds raised during the event help support advocacy efforts and policies that benefit cotton producers and the agricultural
community as a whole.
