Pratz Joins Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association as Editor of the Oklahoma Cowman Magazine

Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) announces the new editor of the Oklahoma Cowman Magazine will be Colton Pratz. His responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing all Cowman strategies, selling advertisements, and representing OCA and the Cowman at cattle sales throughout the state.

“We are excited to announce Colton Pratz joining the OCA team as Editor of the Oklahoma Cowman.” said Michael Kelsey, OCA Executive Vice President. “Colton brings great experience and talent to this position and I am confident he will continue the outstanding momentum of service and quality that is the Oklahoma Cowman.”

Following his agricultural roots, Pratz attended Redlands Community College and Oklahoma State University. During his time at OSU, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in animal science on the business track.

“I look forward to and am excited to work with the members of the OCA, said Pratz. “I think the Oklahoma Cowman Magazine is one of the most premier livestock publications. I plan to uphold the reputation the Cowman Magazine has gained with the same standards that the previous editors before myself have.”

The OCA is the trusted voice of the Oklahoma Cattle Industry and works to protect and empower Oklahoma cattlemen today, to serve tomorrow. OCA is the only voice that speaks solely for the cattlemen of Oklahoma and represents beef producers in all 77 counties across the state. The OCA officers, board of directors and membership encourages you to join us in our advocacy efforts to ensure less government intervention, lower taxes and a better bottom line. For more information about OCA membership, the theft reward program or activities call 405-235-4391 or visit wwww.okcattlemen.org.
