
In the latest Crop Progress report from USDA, the U.S. Corn Crop is rated 54% Good to Excellent this week, down 3 points from 57% a week ago. Corn harvested stands at 23%. Soybean crop conditions are rated 57% good to excellent this week, down 1 point from 58% last week. Soybeans harvested stands at 25%.
The U.S. Cotton Crop is rated 33% good to excellent this week versus 35% a week ago. Cotton harvested stands at 23%. For the U.S. Grain Sorghum crop, the latest good to excellent ratings are 26%, equal to last week’s 26%. Sorghum harvested stands at 32%.
Winter Wheat planting now stands at 36%, compared to 27% one week ago. In Oklahoma, wheat planting now stands at 14% compared to 7% a week ago. Texas wheat planting is now at 35% compared to 30% one week ago. Kansas is now at 24% planted compared to 18% one week ago.
Pasture and Range
In the southern plains, Oklahoma pasture and range conditions are now ranked 11% good to excellent, versus 7% last week. Poor to very poor ratings are now at 61%, versus 65% a week.
Kansas good to excellent conditions are ranked at 33% compared to 24% last week. Poor to very poor conditions are ranked 35% this week compared to 37% last week.
Texas good to excellent conditions are ranked 16% this week compared to 11% last week. Poor to very poor conditions are ranked 57% this week compared to 59% a week ago.
The 48-state national pasture and range conditions are now at 23% good to excellent versus 19% last week. Poor to very poor ratings nationally are at 49% this week versus 51% last week.
Corn Statistics:
Oklahoma corn matured is at 91% Corn harvested is at 67%.
Kansas corn matured is at 97%. Corn harvested is at 54%. Corn conditions rank as follows: 40% good to excellent, 26% fair, and 34% poor to very poor.
Texas corn matured is at 93%. Corn harvested is at 82%. Corn conditions rank as follows: 35% good to excellent, 30% fair, and 35% poor to very poor.
Soybean statistics:
Oklahoma soybeans dropping leaves are at 36%. Soybeans harvested stand at 12%. Oklahoma soybean conditions rank as follows: 14% good to excellent, 35% fair, and 51% poor to very poor.
Kansas soybeans dropping leaves are at 82%. Kansas soybeans harvested are at 16%. Conditions rank as follows: 35% good to excellent, 32% fair, and 33% poor to very poor.
Texas soybeans dropping leaves are at 75%. Soybeans harvested are at 48%. Texas soybean conditions rank as follows: 46% good to excellent, 48% fair, and 6% poor to very poor.
